Spring Things: 7 Finds for a Seasonal Freshen-Up from the Remodelista Editors

When spring finally arrives in our parts of the world, we all get the itch to clear away the clutter, do a deep clean, and switch things up a little in the interiors department. Today we’re sharing the contents of our recent email chain, featuring TK things our editors love to add a little color for a new season (many of them under $100):
Above: “I love this decidedly springy Pastel Tablecloth from Italian designer Chiarastella Cattana,” writes Alexa (shown in the featured image as well). “I’m already envisioning it thrown over a long table in the garden for summer lunches.” The cloth is £261.48 for the smaller size; for more, see Vintage-Feeling Linens from Chiarastella Cattana in Venice, Italy.

Above: Says Fan: “I’m eyeing this sweet embroidered linen pillow for my bed”; $105 from Toast.

Above: “My favorite Sabre flatware is available in a new Asparagus color,” reports Francesca. “I’d mix it in with the ivory that i already own.” It’s $74/set.

Above: If money were no object, Alexa would like one of these colorful painted baltic plywood Jeppe Chairs from BDDW as a desk chair.

Above: From Alexa: Spring cleaning inevitably includes organizing paperwork/ephemera/memorabilia, so I like the idea of bringing some unexpected color to the task with the Metalplus Case Set in Mint; $116 at Erin & Co.
Above: I’m a big believer in the power of the pillowcase. (No need to buy a whole sheet set to give the bed a new look, especially now that mix-and-match linens are in.) My designer friend Hanna turned me on to Collyer’s Mansion in Brooklyn, and I’ve been eyeing their patterned offerings, including these Amna Cotton Pillowcases by Soil to Studio.
Above: Wonky glassware for the spring table: Pebble Glassware is made from recycled glass by artists in India; available from $12 a glass at Earthen.
Above: “I love these branch candles by Ilex Studio,” Margot reports. “They also make great host presents—they’re 100 percent beeswax, cast in Ilex’s London studio from tree branches, and come in lovely boxes that don’t require any wrapping.” The candles are $24 from Bloomist.

Above: I’ve had this print by designer artist/Susan Hable bookmarked all winter and occasionally click back to admire it. The Anemone Print is $678 from Lulu and Georgia.
